Posted by Lawrence Greenlee

Client GatwickDiamondJobs.com has managed to secure 40% of the market share in just five months of launching.

The proactive jobs board GatwickDiamondJobs.com, celebrated in style with 60 local employers turning out despite the wind and rain to Horsham Cricket Festival to watch the match, Sussex vs Surrey from the warmth of their hospitality marquee at the ground.

The jobs board was set up just five months ago and already has approximately 40% of the market share with 340 jobs currently showing on the site and around 700 unique visitors per day – this is proving a popular site with jobseekers and employers alike. “The site provides a unique affordable opportunity to promote jobs, training and apprenticeships from public, private and voluntary sectors within Gatwick Diamond” expressed Gary Peters, Founder and MD of GatwickDiamondJobs.com.

“There is currently a mix of 60 different businesses regularly publicising their jobs on the site, from entry level through to top tier management positions from within the biggest employers in Crawley, Horsham, Brighton and across the Diamond area” added Gary “The site is currently strong in admin, legal, finance, IT, telecoms, media and sales positions”.

Some of the area’s key organisations are backing GatwickDiamondJobs.com, which aims to help jobseekers find more local posts. These include: Gatwick Airport, British Airways, West Sussex County Council, Heart FM, Central Sussex College, Search, CreativePod and Mayo Wynne Baxter.

The GatwickDiamondJobs board launch follows the introduction eighteen months ago of BrightonandHoveJobs.com, also by Gary Peters, which serves the Brighton catchment and has become the city’s hub for job opportunities and employment information, with all the major employers in the region on board.
